About%2Bme%2Bphoto.jpg

Joe graduated manga cum laude at the University of Pittsburgh, where he obtained his B.S. in Rehabilitation Science and received a certificate in Pathokinesiology.  He went on to receive his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, ranked in the top 1% of physical therapy schools.  After receiving his doctoral degree, he completed a post professional residency to specialize in sports physical therapy at the University of Delaware, ranked #1 for physical therapy schools.

Joseph is an APTA certified clinical instructor and has instructed physical therapy students both in the classroom and clinic settings.  He has delivered presentations at the national APTA Combined Sections Meeting on effective treatment approaches for athletes and performing artists.

Joe is San Diego’s only residency trained sports board certified specialist.  During his residency training, he worked with Division 1 athletes, recreational athletes and weekend warriors.  Joe’s practice and in-depth training also focused on orthopedic injuries unrelated to sports.  While residency training is optional for physical therapists, Joe decided to dedicate significant time, money and most of all passion for the profession of physical therapy.  It is this dedication that has allowed Joe to set himself apart and deliver the excellent care every person deserves.
