Joe Mahon DPT, SCS

Joe graduated magna cum laude at the University of Pittsburgh, where he obtained his B.S. in Rehabilitation Science and received a certificate in Pathokinesiology.  He went on to receive his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, ranked in the top 1% of physical therapy schools.  After receiving his doctoral degree, he completed a post professional residency to specialize in sports physical therapy at the University of Delaware, ranked #1 for physical therapy schools.

Joseph is an APTA certified clinical instructor and has instructed physical therapy students both in the classroom and clinic settings.  He has delivered presentations at the national APTA Combined Sections Meeting on effective treatment approaches for athletes and performing artists.

 Joe is San Diego’s only residency trained sports board certified specialist.  During his residency training, he worked with Division 1 athletes, recreational athletes and weekend warriors.  Joe’s practice and in-depth training also focused on orthopedic injuries unrelated to sports.  While residency training is optional for physical therapists, Joe decided to dedicate significant time, money and most of all passion for the profession of physical therapy.  It is this dedication that has allowed Joe to set himself apart and deliver the excellent care every person deserves.

Angel Adams, DPT

Angelique Adams graduated with honors from the University of Arizona with her Bachelors of Science in Physiology and minor in Psychology. Angel then went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University’s accelerated PT program located on the Phoenix Biomedical Campus. Shortly after graduating, she moved to California and began her physical therapy career.

Angel has worked as an outpatient physical therapist treating a wide range of orthopedic and neurologic conditions in youth and adults. In addition, she works as a home health early intervention therapist treating motor developmental delays in babies and toddlers. She enjoys treating patients across the entire lifespan and is passionate about improving function and fulfillment in all individuals. Angel is dedicated to personalized one-on-one quality care, where PT sessions are both collaborative and fun. Outside of work, Angel loves to hike, try new foodie recommendations, and perform with her ladies Latin dance team.

Jacqualynn Gordon, DPT

Jacqualynn graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of St. Augustine in 2018. Her love for sports and the outdoors is what inspired her to become a Physical Therapist. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, traveling and surfing. She knows first hand how important it is to be able to do activities you love and treats with a whole-body approach, utilizing her manual skills and personal training experience to optimize function.

Alexandra Tutino, DPT

A Texas Native, Allie graduated with honors from Southwestern University with her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, where she also was the captain of her collegiate soccer team. Allie then moved to San Diego where she earned her Master’s in Applied Movement science before completing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from San Diego State University. 

Allie has a passion for learning and staying up-to-date on the latest physical therapy interventions for her patients. She enjoys working with a variety of patients and believes in utilizing a team approach when conquering physical therapy goals. When not cheering on her patients, you can find Allie going on a run, attempting to play golf, or camping with her husband and dog. 

Leah O’Reilly, DPT

Leah graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2016. In 2020, she completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at San Diego State University.

Her career pledge includes a dedication to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care. She highly values positive, ongoing professional and inter-professional collaboration. She envisions greater community health translating to global health advancement.

Leah’s extra activities include picking on her banjo, growing leafy greens and herbs, and volunteering all around the community. A recent achievement for her was hiking the Mission Trails 5-Peak Challenge in under 7 hours. She is excited to help others pursue their activities at their best!

Sydney Stuber, DPT

Sydney graduated magna cum laude at San Diego State University, with her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Pre-Physical Therapy. She also worked part-time at the Marine Room in La Jolla, California as a manager for all private events. Sydney continued on to attain her Doctor of Physical Therapy from San Diego State University, a true Aztec for life!

 The mentorship she has received from professors, clinical instructors and beyond has shaped her passion for providing excellent patient care and providing education to all patients. In addition to utilizing evidence-based practice, she applies individualized patient-centered structure into her treatments. Sydney highly values creating lasting personal connections with each patient she sees.  

 When she isn’t treating patients, she loves spending time exercising at her favorite barre studio, Pure Barre! Sydney has a love for traveling all around the world, especially with her grandma, her favorite travel partner. She is a foodie and wino that loves adventuring to find the newest and best restaurants around town.
